Where it starts. Six or eight people, composed by hand: balanced by decade, matched by curiosity, seated over dinner. Three rules hold: phones face down, nobody pitches, what’s said at table stays at table.

What comes next. Drinks, walks, breakfasts, a gallery on a Sunday, made with people you’ve already met, or hosted yourself once you’re a member. A Table is one evening; Plans are the habit it becomes.

Where you belong. Your university, your neighbourhood, your people. Each Club has its own door and its own rules, free and staying free. Membership is the club across them; payment never overrides eligibility.

What does membership include?+
Your Thursday seats, 48-hour early booking, the Exchange (our members’ marketplace) in full, members’ plans and hosting, your communities and the member directory, members’ events, a quarterly guest at the public price, and a human when something goes wrong. £49 a month, and the rate you join at stays yours.
Is dinner free for members?+
The seat is. Food and drink are your own at the restaurant; that’s the deal that keeps tables honest.
Can I come before joining?+
Yes: one Table at £39, refunded in full if we can’t seat you.
Who gets in?+
Good company, by two doors: apply for a first Table and be met over dinner, or arrive invited by one of the vetted Clubs. Every application is read by a person; we compose for conversation, not credentials.
How are Tables composed?+
By hand: balanced by decade, matched by life stage and what you want from the evening, new arrivals beside old hands.
Is this a dating club?+
No. It’s for company. That said, people have met at dinner tables since dinner tables, and we won’t take the credit or the blame.
What are Clubs, and do they cost anything?+
Communities inside the society: your university, your neighbourhood, your people. Free, and staying free. Membership is the club across them.
Can I bring someone?+
Members may nominate one guest a quarter at the public seat price. Good company propagates.
What if I cancel?+
Membership ends at the period’s close; your Clubs and account remain. Seats cancel free until Tuesday evening; after that we’ve composed around you, and a late cancellation carries a £15 charge.
